A unique and immersive theatrical experience for the young and young heart is set to receive its world premiere this July when JENNIFER SKYLARK AND THE SEAGULL’S HANDBOOK comes to the Electrician’s Shop, Trinity Buoy Wharf E14. Following on from the success of Balthazar’s Bazaar of the Bizarre in collaboration with Ragged Edge Productions in 2012, Greenwich Theatre unites with exciting new theatre company Powderkeg, to return to this atmospheric venue for a magical seafaring adventure with a twist.
Join us as we return to the atmospheric Electrician's Shop at Trinity Buoy Wharf, home to last year's sell-out family hit Balthazar's Bazaar of the Bizarre, for an all new site-specific family show.
When an unfortunate twist of fate separates Jennifer from her guardian Uncle, she finds herself on board a giant ship destined for Australia. As her unexpected nautical adventure unfolds, her strange surroundings bring to life Jennifer’s ingenious imagination, conjuring up a variety of weird and wonderful companions to help her on her way.
Storytelling, puppetry, and live music combine to form this fantastical interpretation of factual events, marking the exciting debut of new theatre company Powderkeg. Suitable for ages: 8+
