Between 2001 and 2003 I was based in New York touring extensively throughout North America and Canada with Blue Inc. Theatre Company. Productions include; SPLICE: A Theatrical Ode to Cinema, Voted BEST IN FESTIVAL by Toronto's EYE Magazine (HERE Arts Centre New York, Philadelphia Fringe, Minnesota Fringe, Toronto Fringe, Edmonton Fringe, Vancouver Fringe, Victoria Fringe) If Americans Are So Awful Then Take Your Hand Off My Knee by Carolyn Cohagan (HERE Arts Centre, New York 2002, Florida Fringe Festival, Orlando 2002) and The Tale of Rancour (New York and Philadelphia Fringe 2003).
I am based in the South West of France, and am the Artistic Director of the Arjac Arts and Cultural Centre, a venue for residential masterclasses, workshops, retreats and creative hubs for music, theatre, yoga, writing, painting and French immersion courses, and the home of Monsieur Shakespeare a project bringing Shakespeare's plays in English to the SW France.

I held the Senior Lecturer post of Head of Movement at Rose Bruford College for 12 years. Freelance visiting lecturer and directing work includes: LAMDA, LIPA, Central School of Speech and Drama, Royal Holloway University of London, Brunel University, Goldsmith's College and Greenwich University.
I have led workshops and masterclasses for The Actors Centre, The Jerwood Young Artists Programme at Glyndebourne, and abroad at Yale (USA), The Moscow Arts Theatre School (Russia), with Soulpepper Theatre Company and Equity showcase in Toronto (Canada), DAMU in Prague, (Czech Repubic) and Institut Teatre Barcelona (Spain).
I have directed over 30 professional and drama school theatre productions, many of which have been based on a process of ensemble creation, involving large casts. I have also developed and pioneered Solo Story performance. My work embraces the total sum of theatre. I often design and build masks, puppets, costumes and props for the shows I create.
I have written several plays, including; Vicious (1997), Ovid's Metamorphoses (2009) WINNER of the 2010 Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Award and the Whatsonstage.com Editor's Prize, The Fumidor (2011), an original adaptation of Carlo Collodi's Pinocchio (2013), and an original stage adaptation of Aldous Huxley's Brave New World (Liverpool Playhouse, 2019)

My work spans several disciplines in theatre: I direct, perform, write/devise, design/make and teach.
I am the founder and Artistic Director of multi-award winning, international theatre company Pants on Fire.
I trained at L'Ecole Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris and was in the final group of 2nd year students to have trained with Lecoq himself.
I have an MA in Theatre Practices (University of Manchester), a BA from Royal Holloway University of London, Further training includes Angela De Castro, Wlodzimierz Staniewski at Gardzienice Centre of Theatre Practices in Poland, Teatr Piesn Kozla (Song of The Goat) and Toby Wilshire at Trestle.
